At our classes, you will be able to learn traditional karate and its
techniques, which include some fitness-based exercises.
Although each of our locations offers a different schedule, you can join us for your training sessions six days a week during our flexible time slots. This means we can accommodate your time schedule as and when you need it.
When you join us for your first karate training session, you should simply wear loose and comfortable clothing that you can move around in. What’s more is that once you join, you will receive a uniform that is included in the $49 introductory special.
Our karate classes are perfect for all individuals of varying skill levels and who fall into practically any age group. We have students from as young as three and as old as 103, making this one of the most versatile ways to help you achieve your health and fitness goals as well as learning important life skills that will benefit you immensely in all areas of your life.

My daughter started almost a year ago with Action. Since then she has completely changed her attitude towards school, teachers, and family members. She was always a sweetheart but is now respectful, responsible, and does daily chores with ease. I’ll start by saying, I don’t think I ever envisioned putting my child into karate. Not for any particular reason…I just had never experienced it before and had a certain thought in my mind about what it was.
However, an activity was offered during my daughter’s summer camp (she was 5 at the time) And then we were invited to see an in person session that she could participate in. She was so excited to show us so us and we decided to enroll in the program with the knowledge we could leave after the first 30 days if it wasn’t for us.
I was worried about a few things: my daughter is nervous in large, loud groups and she is very sensory averse to clothing (uniforms). The team at Action was extremely understanding and worked with us through our concerns.
She has now been there about 3 months and her growth has been so noticeable. Her confidence is up, she is loud and proud during class, she is excited to go, learn, engage, and listen. It’s sort of wild how quickly she felt empowered.
Now to talk about the team and how they have the program set up. What a great group of people they have running this facility. I can’t even begin to imagine how many students they have but they all greet my daughter by name and remember what areas she needs to focus on. They are kind, run a tight ship, and can navigate a group of 3-6 year olds with impressive compassion and structure. What I love is that we, as parents, get to be engaged. We are right on the sideline watching, they speak to us directly during class and let us be a part of activities while still giving the kids independence.

Action Karate Phillipsburg is the best! My daughter tried a class for a girl scout event about 6 months ago, and I'm so glad she did! Now she absolutely loves it! You don't find instructors as patient and kind as Ms. Miranda and Mr. Wildrick very often. The skills and life lessons she has learned are remarkable. Not only are they wonderful with the students, but all of the helpers make it such a positive atmosphere, we really feel like we're around family when we're there!
I had the chance to join in on a class tonight. The teachers and students were extremely welcoming, and the class was a great mix of exercise and technique. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to learn the martial arts.

I can not recommend this school enough!! My daughter started end of April. The instructors are absolutely incredible. They have so much passion and care about each of their students. My daughter absolutely loves going to class and has built such a family within the walls. She looks forward to putting on her ghee top and bottoms and tying that belt and charging that mat ready to focus and learn. I highly recommend Action Karate. As an adult student who has wanted to learn karate for years, Action is helping me do that. The instructors are knowledgeable and supportive. They correct mistakes with encouragement and always take the time to explain the moves clearly. Their patient approach inspires me to try harder and keep going.
My health has also improved, a big bonus, boosting my confidence in sports. They offer plenty of weekly classes for kids and adults, plus on-demand. I leave class feeling excellent that I did it. Plus, the new studio space is in a great location. Five stars all the way and every day.

Action karate is such a great place for kids to learn self confidence and self control. The instructors are just wonderful.
This 5 star review goes to every student and staff member at Action Karate! Plenty of students in each level for new students to connect with. Several class times throughout Monday-Thursday and Saturday. Students are able to feel accomplished with stripe weeks (once a month) and belt promotion (every 3 months) and not held back by others which may be hard to find in other sports. Each week has a new lesson and each month has a new “season” (some seasons include: habits, confidence, adaptability) for students to grow as people, not just martial artists. I have spent 16 years practicing martial arts and have never seen this much care and commitment to students. Working at Action provides plenty of room for growth and learning. Mr Bittner has been a phenomenal mentor for me as I grow as an instructor and Miss Miranda is always there to support and encourage me. Action is life changing for all who are a part of it. Action Karate is a great learning environment for all ages. My kids love going to Karate and they are learning life lessons throughout. The instructors here make it all about family and truly do care about there students learning the art of karate and growing as human beings.
We absolutely love action Karate! We started our son off with one-one lessons until he was ready for the ninja class. He is now in the ninja class, and the class teaches great life lesson skills! We’ve seen his confidence, patience, and understanding improve immensely. We believe that action karate and their program has played a great role in helping these skills flourish! I would definitely recommend to all ages and skill levels!
They do an amazing job with kids with ADHD. All the teachers are awesome!!!!
My son has been going to Action Karate for almost a year and he loves it. When he first sign up he was not confident but as time went on he grew his confidence so much. His form and attention span grew as well. The instructors are amazing. They work very well with the children. They correct them on everything even work them out and prepare them for competition. Action Karate is the best place to be. Ms. Miranda is excellent with communication, quick with answering questions and very welcoming. P.S. they have parent night out where you drop the kids off for a couple hours, which is great for a date night.

Miranda was so patient teaching my daughter the basic moves, skills and language my daughter was expected to use during class. Mr. Bittner teaches the kids karate skills and life skills. Mr. Bittner is patient, firm, and truly makes the kids feel comfortable. My daughter loves going to class.

My 3 children have been at Action Karate Nazareth for 8 years. My two daughters have both earned their 1st degree black belts and my son will be testing for his 1st degree in December.
