My daughter and I, have been students of Action karate Nazareth for almost 9 years. We have trained through Covid where the dojo never missed a beat. They put our classes online and had instructors there to train and answer questions.We have had different instructors that have taught in different ways, however still preparing us for our perspective belts.We recently have gotten back our OG head instructor Mr Patrick and he is doing a phenomenal job running classes that not only teach us , but also let us have fun while learning.If wanting to learn karate from the best, then Action Karate in Nazareth is where you need to be.Miss Amber and Mr Patrick are doing a phenomenal job bringing fun back into karate, while teaching a useful tool.
My daughter’s Martial Arts story in her own words: Hi I’m Addie Stitt and I’m testing for my black belt at action karate NazarethHow I got into karate is when I moved to Nazareth and I needed an after school program because my parents work full time so we saw Action Karate did so I went to the after school program for 2 years then I moved to regular classes. We have done really fun activities. I’ve learned a lot from going to Action Karate. I made so many friends. I really enjoy my time training at action Karate to be a black belt.As parents we have been impressed with all the instructors Addie has had throughout her Jr. Black Belt journey. They have been understand to all their students situations and have been encouraging them in class and outside. Taking time out to attend this students other activities when they can. It’s like a family and we were so fortunate that we found them in a time of need and it turned out to be most helpful to Addie who is more confident in herself and we feel has learn valuable self defense skills(which we hope she will never need) but nonetheless has them if she does. Our family has been training with Action Karate for 4 and a half years. In that time, our son earned his ninja black belt and has used his skills several times to fend off aggressive behavior. We have seen so much growth in our son (karate skills and in his character) since he began at age 3. The instructors take to heart getting to know each child and connecting with them. They meet students at whatever level they are at and help them progress. My son treasures each of them and walks taller because of the confidence and strength they have helped him find. Couldn’t recommend them more highly.
Our kids started classes earlier this year and they love it! The instructors are friendly and really take the time to work with our kids when they need the extra help. There are lots of fun special days each month and the kids look forward to each of those. It’s a super family friendly atmosphere and we’re happy we’ve chosen to be a part of the Nazareth AK family 😊

Update: this first post was 5 years ago. Now at age (well, not young) I decided to try karate myself. Still love this place. They are SO supportive and everyone, employees and classmates, are so nice. In the few months since I joined, I've lost a little weight, lost even more inches, learned new defense techniques, gotten stronger, and am having SO MUCH FUN.ORIGINAL POST: This place has been a blessing for my son and I. It has a wonderful after-school program but more importantly the care and concern shown to my son has boosted his confidence and given him a drive to succeed. He loves the karate classes and always speaks well of all the instructors. Love this place!
Our daughter has been going to AK since she was 4 (she's now almost 7). Within 3 weeks we could see her focus, discipline and confidence go through the roof. She has grown so much thanks to the programs that AK offers and we are forever grateful for that. Staff is so kind and communicative, and there are always fun events going on. Action Karate has been such a positive impact to our family. Our 8 year old son has been attending for less than a year and he has excelled in his skills so much. Both of my children have been involved with Action Karate Nazareth since they were 5 years old and over the years I have seen a huge positive change in their character and self-confidence. My son was very shy and guarded and has grown into a confident and social young man who values respect. He holds homself to his own high standards. Action Karate Nazareth has undoubtedly been one of the most influential and best decisions we have ever made as Parents for our two sons. They have been going to Action Karate Nazareth for the past three years and have successfully achieved their Junior black belts. Action Karate Nazareth has been the best thing for my son. The staff is always amazing and so kind, and make my whole family feel like we’re all family. The extra activities are so great and I love that they even involve parents to come out to the mat with the kids, it just makes for such a great bonding experience. At our classes, you will be able to learn traditional karate and its
techniques, which include some fitness-based exercises.
Although each of our locations offers a different schedule, you can join us for your training sessions six days a week during our flexible time slots. This means we can accommodate your time schedule as and when you need it.
When you join us for your first karate training session, you should simply wear loose and comfortable clothing that you can move around in. What’s more is that once you join, you will receive a uniform that is included in the $49 introductory special.
Our karate classes are perfect for all individuals of varying skill levels and who fall into practically any age group. We have students from as young as three and as old as 103, making this one of the most versatile ways to help you achieve your health and fitness goals as well as learning important life skills that will benefit you immensely in all areas of your life.
