I am extremely thankful for and impressed with the karate program at Action Karate Northern Liberties. My son loves Action Karate Northern Liberties this has become the perfect outlet for him and gives him the balance of protecting himself and discipline. Besides that the staff there is very warm and inviting and also supportive.

Miss. Mary and Mr. Stephan have created a really special place at Action Karate Northern Liberties! That isn’t something I say lightly. I’ve been in and around karate and martial arts for more than 20 years. After moving to Philly this summer, I joined what can only be described as a team. The welcome, kindness, and interest in me that they and everyone at Action Karate have shown is incalculable. The growth I’ve see in my own confidence as well as the growth I’ve seen in my classmates, and the younger students would seem hyperbolic if I tried to explain. Anyone who has ever thought about trying martial arts, or is looking for an outlet to spend some energy or maybe you’re just looking to make some friends, THIS is the place. This dojo is home to multicultural, multilingual people; as well as folks with various physical and mental abilities. As a student who is training to become a black belt, Action Karate North liberties has allowed me to become better not only physically but sharpen my mental and emotional skills inside and outside of my school work as a pre junior at Drexel University. Our instructors are kind, welcoming, and allow us to become better than yesterday. Working and seeing not only the adult class, but juniors and ninja sharks grow inspire me to continue becoming a leader in everyday life. Action Karate NoLibs is an amazing school. I recommend the dojo to all parents wanting to instill values of determination, grit and teamwork into their children and families. This is such a family oriented space. Action really takes the time to know the children and focus on each individually, always involving parents in each class. The children are so encouraging to each other as well as teaching each other, showing leadership. Such a positive place to be. Karate class was an amazing choice for my daughter she started out shy but now her confidence is rising also her moves are progressing. The class is very informative and challenging but challenging in a great way sign your kids up it’s a must so much good structure and her teacher Mr. Stephen is amazing !!! I’m so happy I signed up and Ms.Mary was amazing for our welcoming to the class. My baby even practice at home in the am lol.

I am very happy with the classes my children are taking. They just started, but I can see their enthusiasm for their classes. If you are looking for a place that helps your children learn to be disciplined and learn self-defense this is the place I recommend it. Miss Mary is very kind.

AKNL is a great place for kids of all ages to learn discipline and self confidence. My son started in their Ninja Shark class (he's now a Junior) and has enjoyed every minute of his time there since. They encourage family involvement and provide a variety of opportunities for everyone to do so (Dad's and Pads, Mom's in May, Share the Martial Arts week, AK 5K, Self Defense, etc.) They even give mom and dad a chance for a date night with Parents Night Out (which we all love). They also have a variety of sessions so there's something to fit most schedules. Mr. Radice and Ms. Dani are absolutely amazing instructors who are patient and caring while still expecting black belt excellence from the kids. If you're on the fence about enrolling your child don't be. You won't regret it.

This is a great karate school – the instructors make it so much fun for little ones, and everyone is really friendly. My son has been a student at Action Karate Northern Liberties for over 6 months. He has found his passion for Karate here. He is a different child than he was before he learned karate. He loves karate but he also loves the people at Action Karate because they treat him with respect and kindness. Words cannot express how pleased we are with the program and staff — you guys are all so amazing and enthusiastic!!!!

So happy with Action Karate. When our daughter started in August, she was wild- running around and not able to focus. Ms. Dani and Mr. Radice are amazing- Ms. Dani is unbelievably patient and Mr. Radice is just so kind. Genuinely good people and great teachers. 6 months later, my daughter has done a complete 180. She focuses, follows instructions and has so much fun in class. And what she has learned in karate translates to her focus at home and at school. She's also very proud of herself.
And, as a plus, last month they had a special allowing parents to train for free in the adult classes all month. My husband went and loved it. He got an amazing workout and had a blast, so much that he's likely joining.

My great grandson and I attend Action Karate in Northern Liberty. I am approaching 81years and Ian is 7 years old. We will finish our first year and start our 2nd year in January, 2024. Mr.Radice and Miss Danni are fantastic. They create a welcoming environment where everyone receives the attention and help necessary to succeed and learn the art. We love this karate class! I enrolled my shy 3 year old and it’s been so amazing to see him develop more confidence and become more adjusted to following a class in a group. Miss Dani has been so helpful and patient and helps him feel secure. And Mr. Radice is really great at breaking down the technique for my little guy (and for me, an absolute newbie to the art). I’m so glad we tried this place out!

The Ninja Sharks program for kids aged 3 to 6 offers an introduction to martial arts for younger children, helping them develop coordination, balance, and basic techniques through engaging activities. Research indicates that such early training can significantly enhance motor skills and cognitive abilities.

Although each of our locations offers a different schedule, you can join us for your training sessions six days a week during our flexible time slots. This means we can accommodate your time schedule as and when you need it.
When you join us for your first karate training session, you should simply wear loose and comfortable clothing that you can move around in. What’s more is that once you join, you will receive a uniform that is included in the $49 introductory special.
Our karate classes are perfect for all individuals of varying skill levels and who fall into practically any age group. We have students from as young as three and as old as 103, making this one of the most versatile ways to help you achieve your health and fitness goals as well as learning important life skills that will benefit you immensely in all areas of your life.
